Changelog
2.1.2 — 25 October 2026
No more “locked” pop-ups on login pages.
- When the vault is locked, the add-on no longer shows a message on every login form. A password to save is kept quietly and the toolbar button shows a small red badge: open it, unlock, and the save offer is there.
- New inline unlock: click the lock next to a password field and type your master password right there, then pick the account to fill. The box is a page of the add-on, so the website never sees what you type.
- A login captured while locked is checked again after unlocking: an existing account becomes an update, an identical one is not offered again.
- No new permissions.
2.1.1 — 24 October 2026
- Added a discreet, optional “Buy me a coffee” link at the bottom of the Settings page (opens PayPal in a new tab). No pop-ups, no reminders.
- Everything else is identical to 2.1.0.
2.1.0 — 23 October 2026
Now also a private password manager (optional).
- Encrypted vault on your device: AES-256-GCM, key derived from your master password with PBKDF2-SHA256 (600,000 iterations). Nothing is ever sent anywhere: no account, no server, no tracking.
- Autofill only on the right site: look-alike domains are refused and passwords are never filled on insecure (http) pages.
- Offers to save new or changed passwords when you sign in.
- 2FA codes (TOTP), search, password history and a health check for weak or reused passwords.
- Auto-lock, encrypted backups and CSV import.
- Works on Firefox for Android.
- The vault is optional: if you never create it, the extension works like 2.0 (eye on every field, show/hide all, Alt+Shift+P, generator).
2.0.0 — 23 October 2026
Completely rewritten (Manifest V3), desktop and Android.
- Eye button on every password field: tap it to show or hide the password while you type (works with touch on Firefox for Android).
- Show all / Hide all from the toolbar popup, the context menu (desktop) and the Alt+Shift+P shortcut. Works in frames and shadow DOM.
- Optional: hide again automatically after 10/30/60 seconds and when the form is sent.
- Strong password and passphrase generator with strength meter: copy it or put it in the page's password fields with one tap.
- Fixed: hiding passwords no longer deletes the site's cookies (old bug that logged you out).
- English and Italian interface. No passwords are ever saved or sent: no network requests at all.
1.2.1 and earlier (2015–2024)
The original add-on for Firefox 47 and later, first published in 2015. The last 1.x release, 1.2.1, was re-signed in 2024.
